Sea lion snatches catch from fisherman (Video)

WASHINGTON — Sea lions have been known to exhibit aggressive behavior. They can bark loudly and demand treats from passersby.

But they don’t normally sneak up and snatch food out of people’s hands. Yet that is exactly what happened recently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, during a taping of Travel Channel’s “Chef on the Water.”

A professional fisherman was standing on a boat showing off his giant catch when suddenly a sea lion came out of the water and stole his prize.

The Huffington Post reports this particular creature, dubbed Pancho, is known as a thief among locals.
