Silver Alert issued for man, woman last seen in Bowie, Md.

BOWIE, Md. – Officials have issued a Silver Alert for two elderly travel companions who have been missing since Thursday morning.

William Arthur Spriggs, an 85-year-old man, and Jersushia P. Spriggs, a 91-year-old woman, were last seen in Bowie, Md., at about 10 a.m. on Thursday. Bowie officials issued the Silver Alert early Friday morning.

The pair may be driving a silver four-door 2013 Chrysler 200. The vehicle has Maryland plates and a tag number of 1AW5210.

Officials describe William Spriggs as 5-foot-8 and about 145 pounds. Jersushia Spriggs is about 150 pounds and 5-foot-2.
