Jack Davidson didn't let the fact that he doesn't have a girlfriend stop him from going to prom.
Instead, the 17-year-old from Los Angeles decided to ask his crush to be his date.
But his crush turned out to be supermodel Kate Upton, the Christian Science Monitor reports .
Like any determined teen, Davidson used his social media skills to disseminate this video. Upton eventually accepted, but backed out when it was time for prom, CSM reports. At least they'll always have this video.(YouTube)

In the beginning of the video, the teen, identified only as Sean, says his performance is meant to be satire of how elaborate "promposals" have become recently.
