WASHINGTON – Montgomery County Police are investigating whether a report of shots fired near an elementary school and a shooting victim found at an emergency care clinic are connected.
Gunshots were reported to be heard near Stedwick Elementary School in Montgomery Village just before 5 p.m. Monday.
Not long after, a shooting victim was taken to the Germantown Emergency Care Center by private car.
According to initial reports from police, the injured man was in in serious condition.
