WASHINGTON – A car collided with a Metrobus in Northwest D.C. Sunday morning, injuring six people.
Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says a bus heading towards the Tenleytown Metro station was hit by a gray minivan at the intersection of 34th Street NW and Woodley Road NW.
Stessel says the minivan driver ran a red light and struck the right front of the bus. The bus then hit a tree.
The bus driver, four passengers and the driver of the minivan were injured. None of the injures are considered life-threatening.
D.C. police are investigating the accident.
