Children’s National Medical Center seeks electronic valentines

WASHINGTON – Spread the love this Valentine’s Day. Children’s National Medical Center is collecting valentines to cheer up children spending the day in the hospital.

Put a smile on a child’s face by writing a personalized electronic valentine. All notes will be printed and hand delivered to a child. The children’s hospital in D.C. would like to deliver as many valentines as possible, so there’s no limit to how many you wish to send.

Not to worry if you can’t think of what to write. Pick from three pre-designed cards or valentine-themed poems, sayings and jokes.

Last year, Children’s National Medical Center collected 8,000 valentines and has set a goal of 10,000 valentines by the end of the day Thursday.
