All northbound and southbound lanes of N. Glebe Road are closed between Vernon Street and Chesterbrook Road due to a serious single-vehicle wreck.
A car ran onto a utility pole and flipped on its side on the 3900 block of N. Glebe Road just after 5:00 p.m. tonight. The driver apparently suffered a cardiac arrest, according to Arlington County Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck, and paramedics are attempting to revive him or her.
Dominion is responding to the scene due to live power wires down. No word yet on when the road might re-open.
