Woman accused of groping TSA screener at airport (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – A woman who claimed she was inappropriately groped by a TSA screener in a Florida airport now faces criminal charges after she allegedly groped the officer back.

ABC 7 in the Fort Myers, Fla. area obtained video footage of Carol Price, from Bonita Springs, reaching out and grabbing a TSA employee in the Southwest Florida International Airport. Price’s attorney says the video does not depict the whole incident, which included the screener grabbing Price’s gentials and breasts first.

Price, who was herself a TSA employee at the airport, is hugged by a second TSA employee who apparently recognizes her before Price reached out to touch the first screener.

“It was a customer complaint of an extremely inappropriate search,” John D. Mills, Price’s attorney, tells ABC7, who reports that Price got along with some, but not all, of her former coworkers at the airport.

Price was bound for Cleveland to attend her brother’s funeral, but was removed from the flight and taken to jail.

In a statement to ABC7, a TSA spokesperson wrote, “The patdown was conducted correctly in accordance with our procedures. Violence against our officers who work every day to keep the traveling public safe is unacceptable.”
