Unidentified man hit by Mont. County bus, critical condition

WASHINGTON – Police are working to identify a man who is in critical condition after being hit by a bus on Thursday morning.

The man, who had no identification, stepped in front of a Montgomery County Ride-On bus while it was pulling away from a stop on Veirs Mill Road shortly before 6 a.m., according to a news release.

The victim is described as a hispanic man in his 20s with black hair. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. The man was wearing blue and white plaid shorts, tan work boots and a gray shirt. He also had a blue Hawaiian-style shirt in his possession.

The victim was taken to Suburban Hospital with critical, but believed to be non- life-threatening injuries.
