Crash on I-270 ejects, kills driver Sunday

WASHINGTON — A man was found dead, ejected from his car after a crash on I-270 in Maryland early Sunday.

In a press release, Maryland State Police said they responded to a call from a motorist who reported an overturned car off northbound I-270  near Middlebrook Road at about 12:41 a.m..

The motorist said they had seen a white Suburu driving northbound at about 80 miles and hour and weaving “all over the road” before overturning by the Middlebrook Road ramp, about 15 feet into the woods. When police arrived they found the man,  who remains unidentified, ejected about 50 yards from the car, with “extensive trauma” to the head. He wad pronounced dead on the scene.
