Delta starts daily nonstop flights from DCA to LAX

WASHINGTON — Delta Air Lines added to Reagan National Airport’s short list of nonstop flights to the West Coast Monday, with daily service to Los Angeles International Airport.

Delta will use Boeing 757 planes on the route, and says it is the only airline to offer full flatbed seats in first class on the DCA to LAX route.

The daily DCA to LAX flight leaves Reagan National at 5:45 p.m. The LAX to DCA flight departs at 8:30 a.m.

DCA’s perimeter rule limits flights longer than 1,250 miles to 20 daily round-trip flights.

Current nonstop flights from Reagan National to the West Coast include Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.
