WASHINGTON — Alexandria police are searching for the gunman who shot a man in the abdomen Saturday night.
Police say the shooting happened in the 100 block of Ellsworth Street just before midnight Saturday, Aug. 8.
Police say they located the victim — a 34-year-old man from Alexandria — in the 3100 block of Duke Street with an injury to his abdomen.
Emergency crews transported the man to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
