September Charity of the Month

WTOP and Ackerman Security Systems Charity of the Month for September is Operation Second Chance.

Since inception, Operation Second Chance has provided over $2,000,000 in direct financial assistance to more than 4,200 wounded, injured and ill Veterans. When members of our Armed Forces are injured, those injuries last a life time. Operation Second Chance is committed to serving those that have put their lives on the line each and every day for our freedoms. They assist with rent, utilities, emergency flights and daily essential necessities. They also provide day trips, retreats, hunting and fishing programs and hospital visits.
