Changes at FedEx Field and on TV for Cowboys/Redskins game

WASHINGTON – An ESPN poll finds most Americans are rooting for the Redskins in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.

WIth more than 210,000 votes cast, 73 percent said they wanted the ‘Skins to win.

Whether you’re going to the Redskins/Cowboys game Sunday or watching it on TV, there are some changes to note.

Tailgaters will be able to party longer before the game.

Parking lots at FedExField will open at 3:30 p.m., the Bud Light Pavilion opens its doors at 4:30 p.m. and gates will be open at 5:30 p.m., according to the team’s site.

All the times are an hour earlier than normal.

Prince George’s county police say it’s business as normal as far as its concerned. As usual, the department will have special operations officers as well as routine officers, providing traffic control and patrolling around FedEx Field.

If you’re watching the game on TV-it’s no longer on the Fox network, but now on NBC.
