WASHINGTON – Problems with an Amtrak train at Union Station have caused delays to VRE train service.
Four VRE trains are currently stuck at the station.
Two are on the Fredericksburg line and two are on the Manassas line.
A spokesperson from VRE tells WTOP the Amtrak train is blocking their trains from leaving.
Amtrak is investigating. There’s no word yet as to how long that could take.
