U.S. virtual embassy blocked in Iran

TEHRAN – 24 hours after the new U.S. virtual embassy was launched. It was blocked from view inside Iran.

ISLAMABAD – Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari is stable and resting in a Dubai hospital and will undergo further tests, according to his doctor, the presidential spokesman said on Thursday, hoping to quell speculation the unpopular leader might resign.

MOSCOW – Trouble looming in Russia. More than 12,000 Russian Facebook users have signed up to an event called ‘Rally for Fair Elections’ on 10 December in central Moscow.
