Dartmouth hands Columbia 17th-straight loss 27-7

NEW YORK (AP) — Alex Park passed for 268 yards and two touchdowns, Kyle Bramble rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown and Dartmouth handed Columbia its 17th straight loss 27-7 on Saturday.

Bramble got the Big Green (5-1, 3-0) off to a quick start with a 33-yard scoring run on the first drive. Park hit Victor Williams with an 11-yard strike in the second quarter to make it 17-0.

The Lions (0-6, 0-3), who have lost 11 straight league games, got on the board with a 9-yard pass from Trevor McDonagh to Andrew Dobitsch with 3:44 left before the half but Dartmouth responded with a quick drive, capped by a 13-yard pass from Park to Williams with 47 seconds left.

Alex Gakenheimer’s second field goal was the only scoring in the second half.

McDonagh was 28 of 50 for 282 yards but was intercepted twice. Cameron Molina had six catches for 102 yards.

Columbia, after its smallest margin of defeat this season, has been out-scored 248-62, scoring more than one touchdown only once.
