Utah-Michigan game resumes in 4th; Utes lead 26-10

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan’s game against Utah has resumed after a lightning delay of 2 hours, 24 minutes. The Wolverines trail 26-10.

Play was halted with 7:51 remaining in the fourth quarter Saturday and the Utes in total control.

Michigan backup quarterback Shane Morris — who came on after Devin Gardner was ineffective — was intercepted by Tevin Carter, who returned it 59 yards into Michigan territory. Then fans were told to leave the seating bowl amid a downpour, and players headed toward the tunnel.

Play resumed in front of a mostly empty Michigan Stadium.
