Where shorts are big!!
Now in its ninth year, the DC Shorts Film Festival and Screenplay Competition is back with 140 short films from around the world. DC Shorts continues to be the largest shorts film festival on the East coast. The films run the gamut in genre, style and subject, but are unified by their abbreviated run times of 1 - 20 minutes.
Among them "Liberty Road" written and directed by WTOP film critic Jason Fraley. There are two more screenings of his film:
Sunday 9/9 at E Street Cinema 4PM
Thursday 9/13 at E Street Cinema 5PM
Running thru Sept. 16th the festival will be spread among three different venues in Washington, DC with screenings at the U.S. Navy Memorial, E Street Cinema in Northwest D.C., Atlas Performing Arts Center in Northeast D.C., and the brand new Angelika Film Center and Café Mosaic in Fairfax, Va.
