Project ECHO announces Open Registration for the 3rd Annual “Strut Your Stuffing” 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th. Event Day registration begins at 6:00 a.m. and the race will begin at 7:00 a.m. The hosting site is The Arc of Southern Maryland’s Community Resource Center located at 855 West Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick. The ECHO House is the homeless shelter in Calvert County that provides a safe, substance free environment for men, women and families. In 2014 alone, the shelter provided nearly 14,000 bed nights and served over 27,000 warm meals to those in need.
Dress up in your favorite turkey costume, tote your basters and wooden spoons! Join over 500 neighbors in supporting the homeless shelter and burn your daily calories before 8:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day! You’ll be glad you did!
