WASHINGTON – Remember when everyone waited until after Thanksgiving at least to get ready for Christmas?
Not anymore. To compound matters, Santa is helping to roll out a movie that some say is sacrilege.
A Christmas Story 2 is headed straight to DVD, rather than to theaters. In the new movie, Ralphie and the gang are all back. Only this time it’s not a daisy rifle he wants, but instead, a car.
Irate fans have flooded social media sites. They consider the movie to be a Hollywood classic that’s right up there with Casablanca. But in the world of movie sequels, it now seems nothing is sacred.
