Police: Pair of adults tried to abduct boy, 8

WASHINGTON — Police say two people tried to abduct an eight-year-old boy who was walking to a bus stop in Temple Hills on Thursday.

The Prince George’s County police say that the boy was walking to the bus on Brinkley Road, near Fisher Road, at about 7 a.m. When a car stopped ahead of him and a car stopped ahead of him. A man and woman got out of the car. The man had a gun, the police say; the woman told the boy to get in the car.

The boy ran instead, and the pair drove away. The boy reported what happened when he got to school.

The suspects are described as a black man and a black woman, ages 20 to 30. Both were wearing dark clothes, and they left the area in a light colored, possibly gray, car.
