WASHINGTON — You may have just had your first real barbecue or beach trip so politics may not be a priority right now, but Maryland’s election season will heat up along with your summer, starting with next month’s primaries on June 24.
The Maryland State Board of Elections has a website that has information on what you need to do to make sure you can take your pick of the candidates and information on who’s running for office.
There’s plenty to sift through with Congressional as well as statewide races. Maryland voters will be choosing their next governor and Lt. governor, state senators, delegates, county executives and council members and more.
