Man charged in death of McLean teen

WASHINGTON – A 19-year-old man is being charged in the death of 16-year-old Emmylee Lonczak of McLean.

Lonczak’s was found dead the morning of Aug. 23 in the 8200 block of Madrillon Estates Drive in the Vienna area. She had previously been identified through a letter sent to families of students at McLean High School, where she would have been an 11th- grader.

Lonczak, of McLean, had been reported missing Aug. 21. Her body was found two days later, reportedly between two homes in the upscale neighborhood.

Kyle Alifom, who reportedly lived with his parents in a nearby home, is facing charges.

Police believe Lonczak was with three men – one of whom was Alifom – when they bought heroin in D.C., the Fairfax County Times reports. Alifom admitted to police that Lonczak died while with him and he placed her body in the shrubs, according to a Fairfax County police detective’s court affidavit.

Alifom is being held without bond.
