FBI: Plaid chair offers clue to suspected child predator

WASHINGTON – The FBI is asking for help finding a man suspected of sexually abusing and exploiting a child.

Authorities say the adult male — whom they are calling John Doe 27 — was captured in images and videos that show him being photographed while engaging in sexually explicit activities with a child.

The images and footage were first noted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in April of this year, and authorities say they continue to be circulated in child pornography forums on the Internet.

The suspect’s location and identity are unknown, though authorities say he may have referred to himself as “Jimmy.” They also note that images of the victim and suspect show them in a residence with a plaid chair, and the suspect appears to be a white male with male pattern baldness on the back of his head.

The suspect may be in his 40s or 50s, with dark hair and dark eyes, and has been seen in images with a ring on his right ring finger.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI’s tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip online here.
