SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers have signed guard Al Netter to a one-year deal.
The team announced the deal to bring back Netter on Monday, less than a month after he was waived.
Netter entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern in 2012 and spent that entire season on San Francisco’s practice squad. He spent last season on the practice squad for the 49ers and Tennessee and has yet to play a game in the NFL.
He re-signed with San Francisco in January but was waived June 3.
