Police: 3 boys arrested for sexually assaulting girls in Woodbridge

WASHINGTON — Three teens were arrested for sexually assaulting two young girls Sunday, according to Prince William County police.

On Sunday, Prince William County police were called to a home in the 1800 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge for a sexual assault. Three suspects — two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old — were arrested on Monday and Tuesday.

The three boys sexually assaulted two females who are 11 and 12 years old, police say.

Two of the boys are charged with raping the girls and all three are charged with forcible sodomy. Police say the suspects and victims all knew each other and are all from Woodbridge.

Because the boys are all under 18 years old, their identities are being withheld. Two of the suspects are being held at the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center. The other suspect was released to a guardian.

A court date has not yet been set.
