WASHINGTON — A woman was abducted at gunpoint at the Vienna Metrorail Station
and forced to drive around for two hours, according to Metro Transit Police
who are seeking your help in identifying the man involved.
At roughly 12:40 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, Metro Transit Police were notified of
a
carjacking/kidnapping incident.
The victim reported that a man approached her vehicle as she was exiting the
Vienna Metrorail Station in Fairfax County, Va. between 10:30 p.m.and 11 p.m.
The man displayed a handgun, got in her car and forced her to drive to drive
around for two hours.
Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says the kidnapper forced the woman to make four
stops along Annapolis Road in Prince George’s County. They stopped at a Shell
gas station in the 8300 block, David’s Liquors in the 7000 block, 450 Drive In
Liquors in the 7900 block and a 7-Eleven.
The woman was forced to withdraw cash from ATMs and buy the man liquor. The
withdraws and booze cost the woman $320. The man also stole $45 from the
victim’s wallet.
The man then had the woman drive to the New Carrollton Metrorail Station,
where he got out of the car.
The woman was not hurt during the incident.
