WASHINGTON — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects they say robbed a McLean bank last week.
Two men entered the Bank of Georgetown on the 1800 block of Towers Crescent Plaza around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, and demanded cash before fleeing on foot, according to a Fairfax County news release. One of the suspects jumped over the counter to get the money from an employee.
No one was hurt.
One man was described as black, wearing a black mask and black cap and carrying a black plastic bag. The other was described as black, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a handgun.
Both looked to be in their mid-40s, the release stated.
The FBI and Fairfax County Police Department are investigating.

A $5,000 reward is offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
