WASHINGTON – If you’re looking to make a friend, one Brazilian city may be the perfect destination. But if you’re traveling in New Jersey, some people may have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.
Florianopolis, Brazil, is the friendliest city in the world and Newark, N.J., is the least friendly city in the world, according to Conde Nast Traveler. The travel magazine polled its readers to come up with data in the lists.
Notably, five out of the top 10 least friendly cities on the list are in the United States — two of which are in New Jersey.
To add salt to the wound, out of the top 10 friendliest cities in the world, only one in the United States made the cut.
