Sketch released of suspect in jogging assault

WASHINGTON — Fairfax County Police are investigating the recent assault of a woman on a jogging path in the Fairfax area and have released a sketch of the suspect.

The incident occurred along a path that travels between residential neighborhoods in the 12900 block of Point Pleasant Drive on Thursday, July 17, at approximately 7 p.m.

The suspect is described as a possible Hispanic or White male in his 20s and 5 feet 9 inches feet tall in height with an average build. He is also described as being clean shaven. The suspect was also observed riding on a bicycle wearing a neon yellow shirt at the time of the assault.
