The $7.75 billion deal giving NBC the exclusive U.S. broadcast rights for six Olympics from 2022-2032 is the latest in a long line of American network rights deals with the IOC.
Under the agreement reached Wednesday, NBC will pay $2.5 billion for the Olympics of 2022 and 2024, $2.55 billion for 2026-2028 and $2.6 billion for 2030-2032. There was an additional $100 million signing bonus for promotion of the Olympics.
