Woman kidnapped, sexually assaulted in broad daylight

WASHINGTON — A woman was kidnapped by three men and sexually assaulted Wednesday afternoon in Southeast D.C., the Metropolitan Police Department says.

The victim told authorities she was walking in the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Avenue, SE around 3:30 p.m. when a dark sports utility vehicle pulled up next to her. She was forced inside and driven to an unknown location where she was sexually assaulted, police say.

The three suspects are black, the victim told officials. No other description has been provided.
