Through the program, Newseum admission is waived for local student groups from public and private schools, as well as teacher-led student groups from colleges and universities within the Washington Metro area.
To qualify, schools must have a group reservation and be located in one of the jurisdictions listed below:
- Washington, D.C.
- Maryland: Anne Arundel County, Calvert County, Charles County, Frederick County, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, St. Mary’s County
- Virginia: Arlington County, Fairfax County, Fauquier County, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Stafford County, City of Alexandria, City of Fairfax, City of Falls Church, City of Manassas, City of Manassas Park
Schools outside the sponsorship area qualify for a special school field trip rate.
