The Giant National Capital BBQ Battle is going virtual!
For the first time in 28 years, America’s virtual food and music festival will be hosted in an entirely virtual format throughout the entire month of June. A proactive decision made by organizers to ensure the health and safety of participants, staff, suppliers, vendors, and event beneficiaries, the new format creates a social engagement opportunity with interactive programming, cooking contests, cooking demonstrations, recipes, music, prizes, giveaways and more. This year’s event will benefit the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore and the Capital Area Food Bank.
Some of the exciting activities and events attendees can look forward to throughout the month of June are the Taste of Giant Cooking Demonstrations, recipes, BBQ contests, BBQ tips from America’s Top BBQ Pitmasters, Giant Kids Zone, Monumental Sports Experience, music, prizes and giveaways, and much more!
