The First Tee of Greater Washington, D.C.

provides young people with character-building and life skills lessons using golf as the platform.  Through The First Tee, young people discover how skills essential to success on a golf course can also help them flourish in life.

The First Tee Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a network of active young professionals in the metropolitan area dedicated to advancing the mission of The First Tee of Greater Washington, D.C. Through fundraising efforts, volunteering as coaches, and broadening awareness of The First Tee, the YPC provides resources for college preparation (including scholarships for college-bound participants), equipment, and supporting program classes in the growing DC chapter of The First Tee.
