SKY DIVER, under a firm hold while saving ground and tracking the leaders, eased out past the five eighths, knifed her way through between runners soon after, gained a slim advantage to the inside of AUTHENTIC with a half mile remaining, secured the rail leaving the far turn while nursed along, came under a ride entering lane, maintained a short lead while battling in close proximity past the sixteenth marker and proved resolute.
AUTHENTIC, bumped at the break when MAX PLAYER was forced out, contested the pace in hand three wide and to the outside of THOUSAND WORDS, gained a short lead five furlongs out, was displaced by the winner near the half mile marker, was called upon while dueling past the quarter pole, continued the fight through the lane but was kept at bay.
JESUS’ TEAM saved ground early on, eased out through the backstretch, steadied in close around the far turn, regrouped to make a run under ride mid way on the final turn, angled four to five wide into the stretch, churned on and got up for the show late.
ART COLLECTOR bumped with MR. BIG NEWS at the break, rated forwardly while between foes, dropped in to make a run past the five sixteenths, was under presure into the lane and flattened out.
MAX PLAYER, forced out and bumped when put in tight at the break, gained towards the inside leaving the five furlong marker, dropped back some under a ride leaving the far turn as THOUSAND WORDS backed up in front of him, came out to advance between foes near the quarter pole, shifted out in upper stretch and continued with some effort.
EXCESSION was rated back soon after the break, saved ground while well back, angled out near the three sixteenths but lacked a solid finish.
MR. BIG NEWS, bumped at the break, raced three wide between runners past the five eighths, was under pressure leaving the far turn and failed to rally.
THOUSAND WORDS was urged to the front and dropped in to set a pressured early pace, ceded the lead past the five furlong pole, dueled for a bit then surrendered leaving the far turn.
NY TRAFFIC stumbled outward at the break bumping a rival, corrected then pulled his way forward while five wide past the three quarter pole, pursued the leaders into the far turn then gave way in the final quarter mile.
PNEUMATIC gained a forward position four wide into the first turn, remained in touch and stalked the dueling leaders past the three eighths, came under a strong drive soon after, failed to kick on entering the lane and retreated.
LIVEYOURBESTLIFE, hung out well wide while off the pace, dropped back around the final turn.
