West Ham fined $130,000 for crowd trouble last season

LONDON (AP) — West Ham has been fined 100,000 pounds ($130,000) for the crowd trouble that marred the team’s home match against Burnley at the Olympic Stadium in the Premier League last season.

There were four separate intrusions onto the field by West Ham supporters, with one fan being grappled onto the ground by West Ham captain Mark Noble. Hundreds of fans also charged along the concourse between the tiers of the stadium to gather underneath the directors’ box during the March 10 game, which Burnley won 3-0.
