The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.53 per share.
The provider of home-based personal care, nursing and rehabilitative therapy services posted revenue of $362.3 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $353.2 million.
Addus HomeCare shares have declined 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $118.87, a decline of nearly 6% in the last 12 months.
