On a per-share basis, the Novi, Michigan-based company said it had net income of 49 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 73 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 64 cents per share.
The maker of climate-controlled seats and other products posted revenue of $386.9 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $375 million.
Gentherm expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.47 billion to $1.49 billion.
