The Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based company said it had net income of 62 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 81 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 79 cents per share.
The recreational vehicle maker posted revenue of $775.1 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $775.3 million.
Winnebago expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.20 to $1.70 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.7 billion to $2.8 billion.
