On a per-share basis, the Bedford, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and to account for discontinued operations, were 6 cents per share.
The medical technology company posted revenue of $26.2 million in the period.
Anika shares have dropped 10% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 48% in the last 12 months.
