On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had net income of $2.19. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, were $1.32 per share.
The maintenance and cleaning product company posted revenue of $146.1 million in the period.
WD-40 expects full-year earnings to be $5.25 to $5.55 per share, with revenue in the range of $600 million to $630 million.
