The Lake Forest, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents per share.
The drugmaker posted revenue of $32.2 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $21.6 million, or 23 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $125 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company’s shares hit 78 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.01.
