On a per-share basis, the Santa Clara, California-based company said it had a loss of 83 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, were 40 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 26 cents per share.
The company posted revenue of $57.7 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $55.2 million.
