The New York-based company said it had net income of 77 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.18 per share.
The internet and cloud services company posted revenue of $320.8 million in the period.
Ziff Davis expects full-year earnings in the range of $6.43 to $6.77 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.41 billion to $1.47 billion.
