On a per-share basis, the Fremont, California-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents.
The provider of contract research and genomic information posted revenue of $22.6 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in September, Personalis said it expects revenue in the range of $21 million to $22 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $79 million to $81 million.
