CHICAGO (AP) _ Grain futures were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Sept. corn gained 4 cents at $3.87 a bushel. Sept. wheat gained 8.25 cents at $5.40 a bushel. Sept. oats rose by 3.5 cents at $3.24 a bushel. Sept. soybeans was up 11.75 cents at $10.20 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Oct. live cattle was down 1.57 cents at $1.82 a pound. Sept. feeder cattle was down 3.88 cents at $2.48 a pound. Oct. hogs gained 0.12 cent at $.77 a pound.
