The San Francisco-based company said it had profit of 34 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 60 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 52 cents per share.
The online file-sharing company posted revenue of $634.5 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $629.7 million.
