NEW YORK (AP) — NEW YORK (AP) — News Corp. (NWS) on Thursday reported a loss of $8 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 14 cents per share.

The publishing company whose flagship is The Wall Street Journal posted revenue of $2.43 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $149 million, or 26 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $9.88 billion.
